Young Writer's competition

In the summer term some of the children in Key Stage One were entered into a Young writer’s competition. They had a choice of themes to choose from including magical, space, zoo, jungle and pirates. The children then had to write a story on their chosen theme.  We have just received notification that 84 children have been successful and have the opportunity to have their work published in an anthology called My First Story- Leicestershire. A copy of which will be sent to the British library and further libraries across the UK. School should receive a copy in the Spring term. Children who have not been successful on this occasion have received a book mark for taking part. We are very proud of our fantastic young writers. Well done to everyone who took part!
