Welcome

Welcome to the Coleman Primary School website, a useful source of information for our families and community and a vehicle for us to showcase the fantastic opportunities our children experience.

We are very proud of our school and work hard to ensure it is a vibrant learning community, where children develop a love of learning, are confident in trying new experiences and are curious, resilient and determined to do their best. Our inclusive ethos is firmly rooted in our belief in providing the best opportunities for all our pupils and we believe that a good education positively enhances a child’s life. We ensure all children are nurtured and challenged so that they are well prepared for each stage of their learning and for later life.

We highly value and celebrate the religious, linguistic and cultural diversity of our community. We truly believe families are central to the learning of our children and value parental input, support and ideas.  We encourage parents to be part of their child’s learning and will help you to support your child in all aspects of their education, including at home. We run workshops to share how we teach the curriculum and send home regular information to ensure you know what your child is being taught.

We admit children full time from the age of 3 (nursery) to 11 years of age (year 6). We encourage visitors to view our wonderful school so if you would like to look round, please contact the school office to make an appointment. Many of our staff speak community languages and will be able to support if needed.

Staff in the office who are available to answer telephone calls or help with queries are Miss Baker, Mrs Lad, Miss Shah, Miss Saleh and Mrs Musa. The office is staffed from 7am to 4pm.

With warm wishes,

Mrs Wade
